Prices in Menorca are typically 10-20 % above mainland rates because of shipping costs for boards and profiles. The exact price can only be set after an on-site visit.

It depends on surface area and complexity. A 50 m² suspended ceiling is usually completed in 1-2 working days. A full flat renovation with partitions, ceilings and insulation takes 1-2 weeks. Brick holds more embedded weight and has more thermal inertia, but it requires wet works, drying time and rendering. For interior distribution, drywall is more efficient in 95 % of cases.

Yes. For wet areas we use moisture-resistant (H) board, known as the green board: its core contains silicone additives that repel water absorption below 5 %. It is the standard solution for bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and areas exposed to ambient moisture. In technical rooms or areas with direct water contact we reinforce with waterproofing before tiling.

Holiday apartments need two technical conditions: enough acoustic insulation to meet CTE-HR between units (party walls with double board and ≥ 50 mm mineral wool) and moisture-resistant board in bathrooms and kitchens. If the building has 24 h activity (hotels, aparthotels) we also recommend FOC (fire-rated) board in escape routes. Meeting this improves guest ratings and reduces noise complaints.

All our works include a 1-year workmanship warranty. Materials carry the manufacturer warranty (Placo, Knauf, Lafarge), from 5 to 10 years depending on the system. Any issue during that period is resolved at no extra cost, with response within 48 hours across Menorca.

In most cases, no. Drywall is installed dry onto existing substrates: no walls are chased, no rubble is generated. Only cases that need prior work: active damp (treatment at source before closing the wall lining), very uneven substrates (localised levelling) or relocating electrical/plumbing outlets (we coordinate with the electrician and plumber).
